This role will support clients in the Westchester & Orange County, NY markets.ResponsibilitiesManage a full caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers to negotiate settlements and advance cases through the litigation process.Conduct depositions, appear at court hearings, and represent clients in mediations and arbitration proceedings.Partner with senior attorneys and support staff to develop and execute strategic case plans designed to achieve favorable outcomes.Remain current on developments in personal injury law and emerging legal trends to provide informed and strategic counsel to clients.Evaluate liability and damages by reviewing medical records, accident reports, and expert findings to assess case value.Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, mediations, and trial testimony.Monitor and ensure compliance with court deadlines, procedural rules, and statutes of limitation.QualificationsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in the State of New York, with an active license in good standing.Minimum of 4+ years of experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters, with substantial knowledge of New York law.Demonstrated litigation experience, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting depositions, and appearing in court.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven negotiation and client advocacy abilities.Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively within a team-based environment.Highly detail-oriented with exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
