SmartLam is dedicated to making a lasting impact on the built environment. Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Project Estimator at SmartLam North America™. The Project Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient project budgeting. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing construction plans, gathering material cost data, working closely with clients and vendors, and assisting in project planning and resource allocation. Qualifications Proficiency in Cost Management and BudgetingStrong skills in Construction Estimating and Project EstimationExcellent Communication skills, both verbal and writtenAttention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of mass timber or sustainable construction methods is a plusProficiency in relevant software tools, such as construction estimating softwareExperience with project planning, resource allocation, or vendor collaboration is a bonusBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
