Job #: 148590 Title: Aerospace Structures & Mechanical Assembler Location: El Segundo, CA Salary Range: 32.12 Position: Assembler (NOC) Description: Perform complex production assembly operations involving structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools. Support fabrication, integration, and testing of space flight systems and support equipment while working from engineering documentation and established assembly, integration, and test procedures. Requirements: Job Details*Manufacturing *Commercial/Military *2 positions, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 6 positions, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM *Must be a U.S. Citizen Education & Job Requirements*High School Diploma or GED *5+ years of experience with Structures Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Electrical Assembly, and/or Final Assembly *3+ years of experience following written and verbal work instructions *3+ years of experience working with blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures *3+ years of experience setting and using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators *3+ years of experience working with at least one of the following materials: Adhesives, Composites, Epoxy, Fabrics, Honeycomb Core, Laminates/plastics, or Resins *Experience with plastics *Ability to stand and move, including reaching, bending, or stooping, to handle products for extended periods with only short breaks *Capable of lifting 20 lbs. or more on a frequent basis *Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language *Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals Preferred Skills*3+ years of experience using structures hand tools, test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, and shears *3+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint *3+ years of experience working in at least a 100,000 Class Clean Room environment *5+ years of experience building a variety of component-level space products, including avionics boxes, batteries, mechanisms, optics, printed circuit board assemblies, and solar arrays *5+ years of experience with mechanical troubleshooting, disassembly, and repair Job Duties & Functions*Assemble, install, test, check out, and inspect mechanical spacecraft assemblies using blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and written assembly, integration, and test procedures *Perform second-party verifications and visually inspect mechanical assemblies against drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration, and test procedures *Operate materials-handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lift equipment, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck/tractor trailer combinations, and other GSE as required *Operate machine tools including drill presses, grinders, chop saws, power tools, and hand tools *Interface with Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Procurement, and Shipping personnel regarding procedural issues involving design, methods, tooling, cost, and product quality *Support additional mechanical functions as defined by leadership based on business needs *Cross-train and mentor new hires Physical Requirements & Environment*Stand and move, including reaching, bending, or stooping, for extended periods with only short breaks *Lift 20 lbs. or more on a frequent basis *Work onsite in a manufacturing environment *Work in at least a 100,000 Class Clean Room environment TeamGlobal Benefits*Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and more! *TG Rewards Program *Employee Referral Program Job Type: Temporary Post Date: 08/12/2026
