Health, dental, life, and optional vision insurance starting the 1st of the month after hire PTO & extended sick leave Paid holidays including a Personal Observance Day 401(k) Many More!Job DetailsRESPONSIBILITIES: Programs and performs CMM inspections for Receiving, In-process, and Final Inspection of productsMaintains and enhances existing CMM programs for legacy productsConducts First Article and In-Process Inspections to ensure compliance with specificationsPopulates and maintains inspection records, including First Article Inspections, as per work instructions or aerospace standardsInspects parts using handheld M&TE (Measurement & Test Equipment) and visual inspection techniquesAccepts or rejects parts based on established quality plans and specificationsProcesses parts both physically and electronically, generating NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for discrepant partsCollaborates with stakeholders on corrective and preventive actions, as well as root cause analysis for quality issuesServes as a key liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing to address quality concerns and requirements from First Article and In-Process InspectionsExhibits positive communication and behavior skillsPays good attention to detailDemonstrates excellent problem-solving skillsBuilds and maintains positive rapport, communication and behavior with other employees, customers and/or suppliersAdapts and modifies as circumstances warrantDemonstrates safe work habitsQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience in programming/operating CMMs and performing inspection in aerospace and/or military/defense manufacturing environmentMust have experience with AS9102 first article formAbility to inspect on the surface plate and use all types of inspection equipmentStrong metrology, blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skillsProficient in the use of optical comparator, surface plates, height gages, drop gages, micrometer, and other precision equipmentFamiliarity with surface finishesMust be able to work effectively with others in a team environment Computer literate (Word and Excel)Exhibits good problem-solving skillsWe can offer you the opportunity to work with State-of-the-Art Clients making a meaningful impact on today's society and the next generation!
