With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine.Primary FunctionsThe driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. A reliable driver needs to transport items in a safe, timely manner, in conjunction with the customer satisfaction.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoading, transporting, delivering and unloading items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely mannerReviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfiedAssisting with loading and unloading items from vehiclesCollecting payments for delivered items as neededProviding excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clientsAdhering to assigned routes and following time schedulesAbiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving recordPreparing reports and other documents relating to deliveriesOperating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.Any other related duties as assigned by the managementSkills and QualificationsExtensive commercial driving experience with clean driving recordSpecial licenses may be required to operate certain vehiclesGood eyesight and hearingWillingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation lawsStrong time management and customer service skillsAbility to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periodsAttention to detailEducation and/or TrainingHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work.Must possess or obtain a valid DOT medical card upon hire and maintain it throughout employment, as required by DOT regulations.Work Conditions(The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
