Social Media Coordinator (Hybrid - NYC or Atlanta)

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in New York City or Atlanta, GA.This role will support social media teams in growing audiences, managing publishing workflows, and creating engaging social content across multiple platforms. This role helps ensure a consistent flow of compelling, on-brand content while assisting with community management, social trend monitoring, and day-to-day channel operations. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and creative digital native who is deeply immersed in social media culture.ResponsibilitiesReview, route, and approve licensee and retailer marketing submissions for assigned propertiesSupport the execution of franchise strategies and marketing initiatives across key propertiesDevelop materials for franchise decks, pitch presentations, and sizzle videosAssist with acquisition, development, approval, and usage of theatrical and TV assetsSupport the execution of the social media content strategy and maintain content calendarsCoordinate approvals with internal teams, legal, brand assurance, and external partnersMaintain and update brand guidelines and communicate changes across teamsServe as a point of contact for product development and brand-related inquiriesCoordinate with agencies, vendors, and external partners to ensure the timely delivery of assetsGather and analyze industry trends and competitive insights from internal and external sourcesContribute updates for franchise communications, such as monthly newslettersSupport additional marketing and brand initiatives as neededSkills And QualificationsBachelor's degree, open to intern graduates as wellMinimum of 3 years of experienceStrong knowledge of entertainment franchises, including horror and television propertiesExperience reviewing and approving marketing or branded contentStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teamsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and vendorsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and deadlinesExperience coordinating approvals across legal, brand, and marketing functionsAbility to analyze trends and apply insights to marketing strategiesExperience supporting social media content strategy and executionDetail-oriented with strong project coordination skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Canva Preferred QualificationsExperience in brand management within licensed consumer productsExperience working with global teams and cross-functional stakeholdersFamiliarity with entertainment, media, or franchise-based marketing environments We offer a competitive salary range for this position.
