Job Description Adecco Staffing is assisting a manufacturing facility in Beverly MA in sourcing for a Process Planning Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity!Hours: 1st shiftPay: $85,000-$115,000 DOEPosition SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer – Process Planning is responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes for precision components and assemblies. This role drives efficiency, ensures product quality, and supports production targets through effective process definition and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesReview product designs for manufacturability, tolerances, quality standards, and cost driversDefine manufacturing processes for components and assembliesDetermine and design/procure required fixtures and gagesCreate and maintain manufacturing process routes and bills of material in ERP systemsReview Engineering Change Orders and update process documentationCollaborate with engineering, quality, supervisors, and operators to improve productivity and product flowParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issuesQualificationsBS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience supporting CNC machining operationsExperience with CNC machining, workholding, and machining principlesCAD/solid modeling proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)Familiarity with drawing/dimensioning standardsERP/MRP system experienceStrong knowledge of machine shop and inspection practicesEffective communication skills and ability to work independentlyWork Environment & Physical RequirementsCombination of office and manufacturing floor environmentFrequent standing, bending, and movement on the shop floorAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyVisual acuity and manual dexterity for precision-related tasksPosition DetailsFull-time, salaried positionStandard business hours, Monday–FridayOccasional travel may be requiredPay Details: $85,000.00 to $115,000.00 per yearBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
