Coordinate activity and drive improvements to achieve KPI's.Develop relevant KPI's and data visualizations to enable a clear understanding of the actual vs. expected performanceLead development of interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality and production issues using 8D methodology and structured problem-solving toolsPlay an integral part in the Launch process by establishing and monitoring quality target levels at the workstation level for each build phase to validate workstations readinessConduct process audits to ensure the process adheres to guidelines and specific process standardsAct as team leader in resolving assembly-related concerns. Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices.Support ISO 14001 compliance and support internal ISO auditing and compliance as requiredLead development of solutions for throughput constraintsManage and direct statistical process control activitiesSupport efficiency planning to ensure workstations are properly set up with quality risks identified and addressedChange management leadershipQualificationsYou'll Have...Bachelors Degree in Engineering3+ years of manufacturing process engineering experience in an automated manufacturing facilityExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Proficiency with KPI management, data analysis, and data visualization (using data to communicate to an audience and to make decisions)Strong public speaking and presentation skillsFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and FMEA processes.Ability to work and multi-task in fast paced environmentAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to support and launch programsStrong Project Management skills and result-oriented mindset3D CAD review abilities (3D Experience, CATIA, or equivalent)Understanding of PFMEA and failure mode avoidance principlesAbility to operate in stressful situations within timing constraintsAbility to work with minimal direct supervisionWorking knowledge of statistics (control charts, data collecting, GD&T etc.)Strong understanding of industrial controls and automationEven better, you may have...Masters degree in Engineering or MBAExperience with cameras, error proofing systems and/or robotsEffective oral and written communication skillsLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience8D and 5Why corrective action and problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of Lean Tools - 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream MappingDMAIC and DMADV (DFSS) Project Methodology experienceKnowledge of FMEA, PPAP, and DOEsDemonstrated skills in print reading, tool layouts, and gaugingErgonomic analysis knowledge and experiencePrior experience in a facility start-up or new equipment commissioning environment.Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified.You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to the BlueOval Battery Park Michigan facility, we encourage you to apply!As an established global company, we off er the benefit of choice.
