Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on Operating Room Techniques (ORT) to join a rural three-room OR in London, KY. This contract position offers a hands-on role supporting a diverse surgical case mix including orthopedic, spine, OB/Gyn, vascular, general surgery, GI endoscopy, podiatry, ENT, total joints, amputations, and more. Recently expanded vascular surgeries such as carotid procedures and routine C-sections conducted in the OR add to the dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide perioperative nursing care in a rural three-room operating room setting.Support surgical teams across a variety of specialties including ortho, spine (2-3 spine cases monthly), OB/Gyn, vascular, general surgery, GI endoscopy, podiatry, ENT, and complex cases.Conduct EPIC charting accurately and timely.Participate in on-call rotations to support emergent surgical cases.Qualifications and Experience:Registered Nurse licensure (RN), Compact License accepted.Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Satisfactory background screening and drug testing.Location Insight:London, KY is a welcoming rural community known for its scenic beauty and close-knit healthcare facilities.
