This role requires a hands-on professional who can deliver high-quality technical support while maintaining strong customer service and communication standards.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software in accordance with company standardsBuild, image, and deploy systems for new hires, including coordinating shipment and setup of equipmentProvide Level 2 support, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Windows 11 OS, desktop hardware, and enterprise applicationsSupport Microsoft 365 (O365) applications, including installation, configuration, and troubleshootingPerform device lifecycle management, including upgrades, refreshes, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities, and decommissioningMaintain accurate IT asset inventory, including tracking equipment and managing surplus hardwareTroubleshoot network connectivity and support printing environments (network and local printers)Manage and support Active Directory, including user accounts, organizational units, and group policiesDeploy and manage software using tools such as MECM, Intune, and App-VProvide mobile device and mobile mail support for end usersWork with hardware vendors (e.g., Dell) for warranty support and escalationsTrack and manage incidents through ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools, ensuring SLA adherenceCommunicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical usersDocument issues, resolutions, and processes to improve knowledge sharing and support efficiencyRequired Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar roleStrong experience supporting Windows 11 environmentsProficiency with Microsoft 365 (O365) applications and servicesHands-on experience with PC imaging, deployment, and refresh processes (MECM preferred)Solid understanding of Active Directory (user management, OUs, group policies)Experience troubleshooting hardware (Dell preferred), software, and basic networking issuesFamiliarity with software deployment tools (MECM, Intune, App-V)Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systemsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Microsoft certifications or related technical certificationsExperience in enterprise IT environments supporting large user basesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hingham, MA.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
