Team members are encouraged to deliver memorable guest experiences while upholding high standards of professionalism and integrity.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Director of Sales role based in New Orleans, LA. The Director of Sales will lead all sales efforts for International House Hotel & Loft 523, including developing and executing sales strategies to drive room nights, group business, and event revenue. Daily responsibilities include managing key accounts, cultivating new corporate and leisure business, conducting site visits, and maintaining strong relationships with travel partners, meeting planners, and local organizations. The role involves forecasting and reporting on sales performance, optimizing pricing and inventory in collaboration with revenue management, and coordinating with marketing to support promotional campaigns. The Director of Sales will also oversee the sales team, set goals, provide coaching, and work closely with operations to ensure seamless delivery of guest experiences aligned with sales commitments.Qualifications Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Operations, including pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and contract negotiation.Strong Customer Service mindset, with a focus on relationship building, client retention, and guest satisfaction.Demonstrated Team Management abilities, including setting objectives, coaching team members, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.Experience in Business Development, including identifying new market segments, building partnerships, and expanding corporate and group business.Previous sales leadership experience in hospitality, lodging, or related service industries preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with comfort representing the properties at client meetings and industry events.Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in CRM systems and standard office software.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
