Reporting directly into the Global CFO with tons of communication and support to the Global Corporate Accounting team, you will gain mentorship so that you're able to take over the day to day accounting functions of the NAM division. Job DescriptionManage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Coordinate and lead annual audits with external auditors. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and collections. Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements. Prepare and review budget forecasts and financial projections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and sales to support business initiatives and strategic decisions. Mentor and coach junior accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. CPA Preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles & financial reporting Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Proven leadership capabilities and experience in supervising accounting teams.
