About the RoleWe are seeking a Digital Technology Data Scientist Lead to join a high-impact Data Science Center of Excellence. This is an individual contributor role designed for a technically strong, business-savvy data scientist who thrives at the intersection of analytics, engineering, and stakeholder engagement.You will not only build advanced models—you will partner directly with business leaders, translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, and clearly communicate insights that influence strategic decisions.This role requires someone who can:Gather and translate business requirements into analytical solutionsBuild and deploy predictive modelsTell compelling stories with dataMentor peers and elevate best practicesOperate comfortably in a collaborative, cross-functional environmentThis is not a heads-down technical role—you will be highly visible and embedded in business conversations.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Analytics & Model DevelopmentAnalyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and actionable insightsDevelop and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithmsIntegrate models into enterprise systems or build new digital capabilitiesDrive data quality improvement and resolve data-related incidentsBusiness Engagement & CommunicationPartner with supply chain, operations, engineering, and other business teamsTranslate business challenges into scalable data science solutionsPresent findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrate measurable business impact from implemented solutionsLeadership & CollaborationLead complex data science initiatives from concept through deploymentMentor team members on modeling, analytics best practices, and emerging technologiesContribute to the enterprise data science strategic roadmapSupport a Center of Excellence culture across the organizationRequired Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Python (primary), R, or CExperience with Azure Databricks, SparkExperience with Power BI and advanced Excel (pivot tables, analysis)Machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics expertiseExperience working with both structured and unstructured dataAbility to deploy and integrate models into enterprise systemsPreferred SkillsExpertise in Microsoft Power PlatformFamiliarity with LLMs (open or closed models)Experience with RAG architectureFront-end web application development (Flask, Gradio, etc.)Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant fieldRequired ExperienceB.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience ORM.S. with 3+ years of relevant experience
