Production Associate
Production AssociateThe Production Associate position involves performing various tasks in the production of wood components. This role requires adherence to standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production.ResponsibilitiesAttach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Essential SkillsExperience in production and assembly.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work well in a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsReading skills to interpret paperwork and perform tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.Ability to check product quality using a tape measure or other measuring tools/equipment.Proficient in time management.Willingness to learn and perform a variety of job tasks.Compliance with safety equipment requirements such as wearing safety glasses and hearing protection.Why Work Here?Join a family-owned business with a single site location that offers opportunities for advancement and on-the-job training. Employees are frequently exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud, and overtime opportunities are available periodically.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
