Position: Professional Organizer
Location: Napa Valley (on-site, multiple locations)
Employment Type: W-2 Employee
Compensation: $25–$32/hour, based on experience + mileage reimbursement
Schedule: Weekdays, 12-32 hours per week (project based)

About the Role
This is a hands-on, client-facing role supporting home organization projects, moving services, and ongoing home resets.
You will work directly in clients’ homes—sorting, organizing, packing, and setting up systems that make their spaces calmer, more functional, and easier to maintain.
This role requires both:
Strong organizational thinking (creating logical, sustainable systems)
Emotional intelligence (supporting clients through decision-making with patience and care)
This is active, physical work that involves lifting, moving items, and traveling between project locations.

The Lead Organizer (Makenzie) can gradually step back as trust is built
Core Responsibilities
In-Home Organizing
Sort items into keep, donate, and discard categories
Guide clients through decision-making with empathy and clarity
Create functional, sustainable organizing systems
Maintain clean, organized work areas throughout sessions
Leave spaces visually elevated and easy to maintain
Project Support (Moving & Downsizing)
Assist with packing, unpacking, and full home setup
Support donation and disposal processes
Work alongside movers and vendors as needed
Adapt pace and communication style when working with senior clients
Client Experience
Maintain a calm, professional, and supportive presence in the home
Respect client privacy and handle belongings with care
Represent the Fresh Start brand with professionalism and warmth
Communicate clearly with the team after each session
Light Operational Support
Assist with donation drop-offs and supply runs
Help maintain organizing tools and materials
Support basic project logistics as needed
This Role Is Not
A remote or administrative position
A design-only or styling-only role
A fully independent role (training and collaboration are required)
Schedule & Work Environment
Typical workdays are Tuesday–Thursday, starting around 9:00 AM
End times vary by project (half days to full days)
Hours fluctuate based on project needs
Additional days may be added as the role grows
Work takes place in client homes throughout Napa Valley (and occasionally nearby areas)
Mileage is reimbursed
Qualifications & Requirements
Highly organized with strong logical and spatial thinking skills
Emotionally intelligent, patient, and compassionate
Trustworthy and discreet
Strong work ethic and positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Professional demeanor and appearance
Background check required
