If you're looking for an exciting opportunity with a company that is clearly going places, join us at GXO.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you'll do on a typical day:Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facilityUse hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipmentPerform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting productsVerify orders, label products and use a handheld scannerAdhere to the 7S programMaintain a clean environment at all timesWork in a safe manner that protects you and your team membersWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:To be at least 18 years of ageThe ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculatorAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documentsIt'd be great if you also have:1 year of experience in a warehouse environmentAvailability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when neededExperience using a handheld scannerPositive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectivesThis job requires the ability to:Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.Handle or manage tools or equipmentTolerate hot or cold warehouse environmentsCarry objects 3-5 feet weighing up to 50 lbs, routinelyStand for prolonged periods of time >4 hoursWalk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4-5) miles per dayBend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in team lift.We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
