They are intended to be a summary of key job responsibilities and duties.Manages Building Department operations for an assigned client agency.Apply knowledge of building codes, policies, and procedures to the day-to-day functions of a building department.Consults with engineers, architects, developers, contractors, and the public on construction and building code issues, responds to questions regarding codes and regulations.Plan review of minor projects for residential and commercial building, alterations, remodels, and additions.Performs field inspections on all phases of residential and commercial construction.Issues Certificates of Occupancy for completed projects.Create and maintain reports, plan review files and inspection logs for all building projects.Maintain clients permitting database.Perform all work consistent with BPR's and Clients policies and procedures.Provide all services in an efficient, proactive, and client focused manner.Benefits:BPR offers a compensation package consisting of a competitive annual base salary with incentive opportunities based on overall operational profitability as well as personal developmental goals.
