Job Description:We are seeking an experienced MBD Powertrain Calibration Engineer with strong expertise in model-based development (MBD), powertrain systems, and calibration activities. The candidate will be responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing control strategies for automotive powertrain systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement control algorithms using Model-Based Development (MBD) tools such as MATLAB/SimulinkPerform powertrain calibration for engine, transmission, and hybrid systemsWork on ECU development, testing, and validation (MIL, SIL, HIL environments)Analyze system performance and optimize calibration parameters for efficiency, emissions, and drivabilitySupport integration and testing activities on vehicle and test benchesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including controls, systems, and validation engineersDebug and troubleshoot calibration and control issuesRequired Skills:Strong experience in Powertrain Systems (Engine / Transmission / Hybrid)Hands-on experience in Calibration tools such as INCA, CANape, or similarExpertise in MATLAB/Simulink for MBD developmentKnowledge of AUTOSAR architecture (preferred)Experience with CAN communication toolsFamiliarity with MIL, SIL, HIL testing environmentsGood understanding of vehicle diagnostics and control strategiesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive EngineeringExperience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
