Senior Integrations Engineer – Contract Opportunity3 month contract - remote - potential to extendSummaryWe’re seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications team and lead the design, development, and optimization of complex integrations across cloud and on‑premise systems. This role is ideal for someone with deep Boomi expertise, strong architectural instincts, and the ability to ensure integrations are stable, scalable, and high‑performing. You’ll own integration health, troubleshoot production issues, guide junior developers, and collaborate across IT and business teams to deliver reliable, well‑designed solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign scalable, maintainable integration solutions aligned with business needsProvide daily operational support and manage integration issuesParticipate in all phases of the SDLC for integration projectsTroubleshoot complex integration problems and implement fixesCreate and maintain technical documentationResolve issues with existing Boomi jobs in productionCommunicate effectively with cross‑functional teamsMentor and guide junior team membersArchitect integrations across cloud and on‑prem applications (APIs, databases, platforms)Collaborate with analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirementsLead end‑to‑end Boomi integration development, including testing and go‑live supportIdentify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutionsIndependently manage small to medium enhancement projectsParticipate in code reviews and enforce best practicesMonitor production systems and ensure performance and availabilityRespond to incidents and implement corrective actionsContinuously improve integration processes and automationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field5+ years as an Integration Engineer or similar roleExpertise with Boomi or similar integration tools (Matillion, MuleSoft, etc.)Boomi Developer or Architect certification preferredExperience with Boomi connectors (sFTP, HTTP Client, Command Shape, DB V1/V2)Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIsProficiency with JSON, XML, CSV, and data transformation techniquesKnowledge of authentication, authorization, and integration security best practicesStrong programming skills (Java, Python, or similar)Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud data warehousing (Snowflake)Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker/Kubernetes a plusStrong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teamsProject management experience and ability to lead integration initiativesExperience with EDI transactions (850, 856, 860, 870) is a plusThe salary range for this position is 65/hr to 72/hr.
