The group is affiliated with the regional leader in healthcare and there is a strong market presence in the region and an excellent referral base.Our Geriatricians work in many different settings, nursing homes, assisted care facilities and in an outpatient geriatric evaluation clinic. Participate in the ortho-geriatric model of care to provide optimal perioperative care to older adults undergoing major joint replacement in an inpatient setting that is currently being established. Opportunities exist to obtain a Medical Director position in our local nursing homes. Minimal phone call schedule.There are opportunities for teaching geriatric fellows, residents, and medical students from Upstate Medical University, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research.
