The ideal candidate will have strong experience in welding and fabrication, with a commitment to safety, precision, and high-quality workmanship. This role involves complex welding tasks across construction and manufacturing projects, working with structural steel and large components in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and technical expertise are highly valued.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and SMAW (Stick Welding) on structural steel2G & 3G welding experienceWeld large beams and metal plates according to project specificationsRead and interpret blueprints accuratelyMaintain quality and safety standards at all timesWork collaboratively with shop and field teams to meet production goalsQualifications & RequirementsAWS Certification highly preferred- AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Welding CertificatesMust have 2G, 3G welding experience is a mustExperience with FCAW and SMAW welding processesStructural steel welding experienceMachine shop experience preferredAbility to read and understand blueprints (required)Willingness to work night shift hoursTools & Safety GearCandidates must provide:Basic welding toolsWelding sleevesSafety glassesLace-up work bootsScheduleNight Shift: 2:30 PM – 3:00 AMCompany DescriptionOn Target Staffing Corporate Recruiting is a division of On Target Staffing, LLC.
