Instructor responsibilities emphasize excellence in teaching and program support and do not include expectations for scholarly activity or university service.All faculty members are expected to collaborate with Pre K–12 partners and actively contribute to program development and departmental initiatives.Qualifications: An earned doctorate in education or a closely related field is preferred for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank; ABD candidates who will complete their degree prior to the date of appointment will be considered. Candidates with a master's degree in education and significant relevant experience may be considered for appointment at the Instructor rank. Preference will be given to individuals with recent Pre K–12 classroom experience. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching across a variety of grade levels and demonstrate effectiveness in integrating instructional technology into teaching and learning. Experience working with English learners is also highly valued.
