Java Tech Lead

Job Title: Java Tech LeadLocation: Pittsburgh, PA / Dallas, TX / Cleveland, OHVisa: USC / GC / GC EADPosition DescriptionCGI is looking for an API Technical Lead.This role must be filled from Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX on the client site 5 days.ResponsibilitiesResponsible to lead and drive the team with the client.Responsible for sound and high-quality technical deliverables.Drive the direction and roadmap for the microservices architecture.Provide innovative solutions to complex situations and drive outcomes.Provide technical guidance and architectural assistance around Kafka, Microservices, and MongoDB integrations.Help team members with technical queries and mentor them to develop top-quality code.Work in an Agile environment and adapt to changing business needs and requirements.Be hands-on to develop or fix issues and deliver on time with the highest quality.Work closely with leadership and the entire Tech team.Guide team members to create test plans and ensure issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested.Develop incorporating best practices.Required QualificationsAt least 9+ years of Java API development using Spring Boot, hands-on troubleshooting, and deployment experience.3+ years of experience working as a lead and driving high-quality outcomes.Excellent working knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes.Document Management Experience required.
