Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Preoperative Discipline: RN Duration: 8 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel The Preoperative Registered Nurse works as a professional practitioner employed by Amergis Healthcare Staffing and assumes the responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the preoperative setting. The Preoperative Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The Preoperative Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursing standards. The Preoperative Registered Nurse is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of the preoperative patient.
