Quality Assurance Test Engineer

QA Engineer – eCommerce12 Month Rolling Contract Location: Atlanta, GA, Hybrid We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to support our growing eCommerce platform within a leading distribution organization. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of high-traffic digital commerce applications that support nationwide operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable guiding QA best practices in a fast-paced, agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead quality assurance efforts for eCommerce applications, including web, APIs, and backend servicesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Selenium (or similar tools)Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across complex workflows (orders, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, etc.)Partner closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the SDLCReview requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and risks earlyExecute and oversee manual testing when automation coverage is not feasibleAnalyze defects, document findings clearly, and drive resolution through collaborationSupport CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and monitoring test resultsMentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across the teamRequired Qualifications6+ years of QA experience, with experience in a lead or senior QA roleStrong experience with test automation, particularly Selenium (Java, Python, or similar)Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect managementExperience testing eCommerce platforms or complex transactional systemsHands-on experience testing REST APIs (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)Strong SQL skills for validating backend dataExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments
