Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures
Conduct inspections and tests on materials, products, and processes
Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement
Lead or participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving for quality issues
Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain, etc.) to resolve quality concerns
Prepare and maintain quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, reports)
Assist with internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory)
Train staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices
Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs)
Support supplier quality management and conduct supplier audits or inspections
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Address customer complaints related to product or service quality
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science degree
Familiarity and experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
Certifications (e.g. Six Sigma or ASQ) preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience and proficiency with statistical process control and data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Minitab, Excel)
Root cause analysis and problem-solving (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram)
Familiarity with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
Data analysis and reporting (Excel, Minitab, or similar tools)
Technical writing (procedures, work instructions, reports)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Project management and organizational skills
Communication and interpersonal skills (working with cross-functional teams)
