Journey Plumber

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. *Responsibilities* - Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts - Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets - Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and initiate repairs - Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems - Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing - Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection standards *Requirements* - Proficiency in pipe threading techniques - Ability to read schematics for plumbing systems - Experience in remodeling projects involving plumbing work - Capability for heavy lifting as required for the job - Knowledge of welding for specific plumbing tasks - Skills to maintain and build plumbing systems effectively - Proficiency with hand tools essential for plumbing work - Possession of a commercial driving license is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Compensation Package: Bonus opportunities Overtime pay Schedule: 5x8 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No weekends License/Certification: Journeyman Plumber (Required) Ability to Commute: Adrian, MI 49221 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Adrian, MI 49221: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
