Our products are proudly supplied across 14 states and four countries.Position OverviewAfficionado Coffee Roasters is seeking a motivated, results driven New Jersey Sales Manager to help expand and maintain our presence throughout the region.This is a field based, outside sales position focused on generating new business and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts. The role requires actively prospecting, visiting businesses, networking, and developing long term client partnerships throughout the assigned territory.Candidates should be comfortable spending significant time in the field meeting with prospective and current clients including coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, hospitality groups, and office coffee service accounts.This is not a remote or inside sales role and requires regular in person client visits and relationship management.The position reports to our New Jersey headquarters with frequent travel throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York City.The ideal candidate will work closely with the current sales team to develop new opportunities, support existing accounts, and continue growing the Afficionado brand throughout the market.Candidates should develop a strong understanding of our coffee, equipment, and service offerings in order to effectively present solutions and support client needs.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and develop new sales leads through cold calling, networking, walk ins, and relationship buildingActively visit businesses throughout the territory to prospect new accounts and build partnershipsBuild and maintain relationships with existing clients to support long term account growthConduct in person meetings, tastings, and presentations with prospective customersProspect and develop hospitality, corporate, restaurant, hotel, café, and office coffee service accountsWork closely with the current sales team to build pipeline and close new businessMaintain regular communication and follow up with current clients to ensure satisfaction and continued partnershipBuild and maintain a strong understanding of our coffee, equipment, and service offeringsIdentify opportunities for long term account growth and partnership developmentCollaborate with operations, service, and client success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing supportRepresent the Afficionado brand professionally in the field and at industry eventsMaintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and account updatesMeet and exceed territory sales goalsQualifications5+ years of sales, business development, or account management experiencePrevious experience in hospitality, food and beverage or specialty coffeeProven track record of generating leads and closing new businessStrong relationship building and presentation skillsExcellent communication and follow throughHighly organized and self motivatedComfortable working in a fast paced, field based sales environmentAbility to manage both new business development and existing client relationshipsComfortable spending significant time in the field visiting prospective and current accountsThis role requires regular reporting to our New Jersey headquartersFrequent travel throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York City is requiredValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredPay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00
