POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for program coordination associated with the Refugee Resettlement department, with a focus on securing and organizing in-kind donations, as well as assisting with finding and securing housing for newly arriving refugees and performing administrative tasks such as contract tracking and maintaining accurate records of donations, including dollar value equivalents for reporting purposes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Respond to donor inquiries
Picking/ delivering up donated furniture and household goods. Handling the storage of furniture and other housing / initial welcome materials. Providing donors with receipts for donated items
Maintain an inventory count of donated goods, and where items are stored
Arranging the assembly and delivery of Welcome Kits (Kitchen, Cleaning, Bathroom, Personal Hygiene, etc.) from local community groups. Providing Welcome Kits to walk-in clients, depending on availability
Ensuring cargo and passenger van maintenance is completed on schedule
Organizing safe parking space for vehicles
Adhere to all program and affiliate organization record-keeping requirements, including and not limited to donations and housing spreadsheets
Support timely, accurate reporting including data/information quality review under the guidance of program management
Maintain positive relationships with external donor focal points
Assist program management in advancing program and operational goals
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 2 years of office/administrative experience, with data entry experience.

General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work well under pressure and work effectively in a multicultural setting, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills. General experience with Microsoft 365.
Transportation: This position requires reliable transportation for business purposes, such as between work locations, community settings, and driving clients in a personal and/or agency vehicle. Candidates must have an acceptable motor vehicle report.
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak in English.
Clearance: Standard LCSNW criminal clearance, including national sex offender, motor vehicle records, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
