Northern Light Mercy HospitalDepartment: McAuley Residence - SouthPosition is located: McAuley ResidenceWork Type: Full TimeHours Per Week: 40.00Work Schedule: VariableSummary:The Program Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a comprehensive program for women in early recovery. The incumbent ensures optimal resident referrals and ensures that an appropriate application process and orientation prepare women for a residential experience that promotes building on their strengths and motivating them toward self-sufficiency. The incumbent guides the residents in establishing and carrying out their individual goal setting plans with appropriate accountability and tracking of outcomes. The incumbent ensures basic financial literacy and budgeting, and links residents to agencies or providers to access necessary resources related to all types of healthcare, education, vocational counseling, employment, volunteering, financial management, legal advice, housing, healthy lifestyle and parenting/childcare needs. The Program Manager facilitates resident meetings on a weekly basis and monitors and evaluates program outcomes. The incumbent effectively interacts with residents, resident children, family members, therapists, McAuley Residence and staff, agency providers, volunteers, mentors and donors. The incumbent performs duties in accordance with performance standards. The incumbent may have access to highly confidential patient, employee, and proprietary information, and must handle and protect the information in accordance with hospital and system policies, HIPAA requirements, and the highest level of ethical standards. The incumbent is responsible for reporting all security events, potential events, and other security risks to the organization. The incumbent is accountable for employee safety and will attend safety and loss-control training, engage in injury prevention, perform accident and injury investigations including conducting root cause analysis, and assist in returning employees to regular duty. The incumbent is responsible for participating in and completing all patient safety initiatives appropriate to the position and conducts all job responsibilities according to the mission and values of the hospital.Responsibilities:Understands and upholds the Mission and Values of Northern Light Mercy Hospital and McAuley Residence:* Represents McAuley Residence to the community as a program founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy.* Educates all associated with the program to the history and traditions of Catherine McAuley's ministry particularly with women and children who struggle in poverty.Manages the daily operations of a comprehensive program for women in early recovery:Assisting each family set and achieve agreed upon measurable goals around education, parenting, sobriety, nutrition, career, and financial literacy.Working collaboratively with Property Manager.Hosting potential donors and volunteers.Assisting in coordinating grant opportunities.Provides overall coordination of McAuley Residence Program:Monitors program outcomes and expenses.Maintains contact with former residents.Develops post-residency mentoring program.Coordinates different staff perspectives and responsibilities.Actively participates and advocates in community housing and service organizations:Assists in coordinating with all other Mercy Hospital departments for support services.Develops key partnerships with area providers and other service organizations.Develops resources and sober housing options for vulnerable women.Other Information:Competencies and SkillsBehaves with Integrity and Builds Trust: Acts consistently in line with the core values, commitments and rules of conduct.
