Sr. Java Developer

Job title: Java Full Stack Engineer – Professional- AR-243060 McLean, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) 12 months Contract Job Description: Lead technical discussions with the centralized Solution architecture team for technical review. Create high level and low-level designs and drive technical discussions. Work on application design Develop applications using Front end, middleware, and database related technologies. Develop and implement best practices and write efficient piece of code. Write unit test cases using any of the frameworks and should be completely automated. Exposure on REST API design & principles and adhere to RAML/Swagger or Open API specification. Develop reusable components using proper design patterns as listed by lead/architect so that it is extensible. Use design patterns and implement the right solution. Perform code review and implement automation wherever required to ease development process. Essential Skills: 10+ years of experience in Solution, Design and Development of applications using J2EE framework, Spring Boot, RESTful services and Angular. 2+ years of experience in Designing and Implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS. Good Working knowledge of Microservice using J2EE and Web Services (Java, XML, jQuery JavaScript, HTML, OOA and OOD Concepts) Development and support skills in middleware technologies (SpringBoot, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss etc.) Good working knowledge of DevOps tool chain (Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Spinnaker, Maven/Gradle, Groovy DSL, Atlassian Tool suite) Experience with OAuth implementation using Ping Identity Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana. Familiarity with API Management (Apigee) and Service Mesh (Istio). Good knowledge of database concepts and integration with business application development. Ability to participate in discussions with project teams to understand the application design, build process and help deploy applications in target environments. Essential Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Preferably certified in AWS.
