Senior Project ManagerLocation – Hartford / Stamford CT USA (Mandatory 3 days/week in office)Start Date – ImmediateDuration – 6 months +Mandatory : Insurance industry experience Job/Role DescriptionThe PM will be responsible to deliver complex projects to successful completion in the best interests of the program objectives. Managing Budget, risks and ensuring project benefits will be delivered. Key interactions with the Analysts, Service Managers, Project Management Team Leaders, Analyst Team Leaders, Business Partners, Business Stakeholders, Resource Managers. The PM will be managing medium to large size complex Programs / Projects based on business needs.What will your essential responsibilities include?Manage complex projects within the framework and governance model in use (both Agile and Waterfall)Comprehensive Project definition, including scope, cost, time and quality estimatesBuilding strong project teams, and establish excellent working relationships with project stakeholdersPreparing and maintaining up to date project plans and budget forecasts collaboratively with all key project team membersStrong risk, issue and dependency management, proactively identifying and mitigating items to keep projects on trackManage scope, including change controlsInitiate improvements to existing Project Management and Governance processesWe’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Commercial Insurance industry experience is requiredGuidewire / Billing / Corporate HR Programs experience is preferred.Ability to provide innovative solutions based on strong understanding of business objectivesExperience of benefits driven change and minimum viable product conceptsPrince 2, SCRUM Master or PMP Certification or equivalent is desirableProficient user of project management tools for example MS Project, MS Office Suite, Financial Tracking, Planview ,etc.
