More information about our clinic is available on the web at is seeking well-trained clinicians with a strong interest and skills in whole-person treatment of complex issues.Expectations and Requirements: Clinicians must be licensed in California with a Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical psychology and demonstrate qualifications in assessment, clinical care, and report preparation.Clinicians must have experience in the psychological assessment and treatment of chronic pain and trauma, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, and other integrative approaches.Clinicians should have individual and group therapy expertise in the following:Mind-body techniques that control the effects of painDecreasing dependence on pain medications and interventional pain treatmentsInfluencing health independence behaviorsIncreasing functionalityClinicians should be familiar with evidence-based treatment modalities including but not limited to:Psychophysiological - Desensitization techniques such as EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, Systematic Desensitization, BiofeedbackCognitive Addressing Fear Avoidance Behavior, Catastrophic Thinking, Locus of ControlBehavioral Managing Stress Reactivity, Self-Care, Goal Setting, Behavioral Activation, Diet/Nutrition, and ExercisePsychosocial Coping with Depression, Anxiety, Building Social Skills, Vocational Goal SettingSubstance Use/AbusePain Management and medication reduction approachesWorkers Compensation experience is highly desired.
