The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SharePoint Foundation, SharePoint Designer, and Microsoft development technologies, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.This role involves developing new SharePoint applications, maintaining existing environments, implementing workflows, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting continuous platform improvements.Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – Local Atlanta/Metro Atlanta Candidates Only)Job Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint Foundation-based applications and enterprise collaboration solutions.Configure and customize SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, permissions, and site capabilities.Work with SharePoint-based COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) applications requiring both back-end SharePoint development and front-end configuration.Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leadership to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.Analyze system requirements, business processes, and data flows to develop efficient software solutions.Develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain SharePoint applications and enhancements.Design and implement SharePoint Foundation workflows to automate business processes.Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint application, workflow, and configuration issues.Develop proof-of-concept solutions and technical prototypes to validate new functionality.Produce technical documentation including system designs, process flows, architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.Maintain code quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to development best practices.Ensure data security and confidentiality while supporting enterprise SharePoint environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions on schedule.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).5+ years of hands-on experience developing SharePoint applications using SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Designer.5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise web-based applications.Strong experience with SharePoint customization, workflows, site administration, and application configuration.Experience developing with Microsoft .NET technologies including C# and/or VB.NET.Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.Self-motivated professional capable of independently managing assignments with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free solutions.Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft SharePoint Development Certification(s).Experience with SharePoint Foundation workflows and enterprise content management solutions.Familiarity with Lanteria HR Software.Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development environments.Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, or related Microsoft collaboration technologies is a plus.Additional InformationHybrid work schedule consisting of both remote and in-office work.Candidates must reside in the Atlanta Metro area.Selected candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.Candidates must complete a Georgia tax compliance check and remain compliant with all applicable Georgia tax obligations throughout employment.Accelyst is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
