Transit After Action & Improvement Plan Analyst
PEMCCO is seeking a Transit After Action & Improvement Plan Analyst to lead the documentation and corrective action tracking efforts following emergency exercises. This role plays a critical part in translating exercise observations into structured After Action Reports (AARs) and actionable Improvement Plans. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and writing skills and experience in safety or compliance documentation within a transit or public safety environment.

Essential Functions
Compile evaluator notes and hotwash feedback.
Draft HSEEP-compliant After Action Reports.
Develop and manage Improvement Plan matrices.
Track corrective action lifecycle and closure.
Coordinate follow-up meetings with safety leadership.
Maintain documentation logs and version control.
All other duties as assigned.
Competencies
Strong technical writing skills.
Ability to synthesize operational findings into structured reports.
Knowledge of corrective action tracking processes.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Safety, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance documentation, safety reporting, or emergency management.
Preferred Qualifications
HSEEP familiarity.
Experience with transit or transportation safety programs.

Compensation
$42 – $55 hourly, depending on experience, ability, and capability.
