They are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee projects with a focus on performance, safety, and client satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety guidelinesWork closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate schedules and track progressSupervise and mentor foremen, site supervisors, and field staff to maintain a productive work environmentConduct regular site walks to monitor work, identify challenges, and keep the project on scheduleInterpret drawings and plans accurately to ensure proper field implementationManage subcontractor and supplier activity to maintain productivity and resolve any issuesEnforce jobsite safety practices and conduct recurring safety meetings with all personnelCollaborate on budget control, cost tracking, and process efficiencies with the project teamMaintain accurate project records including daily reports, photos, and work logsRequirementsMinimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial constructionBackground with mid-sized or larger firms focused on Public Works, K-14, Higher Education, and Municipal projectsExperience with LAUSD projects is highly desirableSolid understanding of construction methods, building codes, and project sequencingProven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfactionExcellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skillsFamiliarity with construction management softwareOSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferredCompensation + BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance plans401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid vacation, holidays, and sick leaveOpportunities for career advancement and training programs
