Azure DevOps Engineer/Architect

DecisionPoint is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer/Architect with extensive hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) who has successfully implemented and managed AKS deployments, incorporating tools like ArgoCD for GitOps and continuous delivery to support the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR).Ideal candidates have:Experience utilizing Azure Files for persistent storage in AKS and are skilled in integrating Azure Container Registry for managing and deploying container images across multiple environments.Are proficient in managing secrets and sensitive data using Azure Key Vault, ensuring secure access control and seamless integration with AKS for applications that require confidential information.Are well-versed in setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or Azure DevOps, leveraging best practices in DevOps automation, and integrating continuous delivery tools like ArgoCD for automated deployment into AKS clusters.Have deep knowledge of containerization and image management using Azure Container Registry and possess strong troubleshooting skills for resolving container and image-related issues within AKS.Have experience integrating Azure Files with AKS to provide scalable and secure file storage solutions for applications running within the cluster.Are skilled in configuring and managing Azure Key Vault for secret management, ensuring secure and automated access to sensitive data for containerized applications running in AKS.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead the migration from on-premises infrastructure to web modernization, setting up a scalable and secure Azure environment with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Build cloud infrastructure products (e.g., foundation services, isolation zones, app patterns) and incorporate security throughout the SDLC.Develop and implement cloud automation standards and strategies for automating and deploying cloud infrastructure.Oversee and manage DevOps automation, including setup and configuration of CI/CD processes.Facilitate operations, development, and testing by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes.Assist in designing solution-dependent architectures following best practices and requirements.Build, maintain, and support integration between application CI/CD pipelines and the development lifecycle.Provide guidance to less experienced cloud developers in optimizing and automating cloud engineering activities (e.g., real-time migration, provisioning, deployment).Improve cloud product reliability, availability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness by developing fault-tolerant tools to ensure infrastructure robustness.Design, develop, and implement Azure infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Utilize Azure Migrate for large-scale on-premises virtual machine migration to Azure.Configure and manage Azure ExpressRoute for private connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure.Implement Azure Landing Zones using Terraform to establish a secure and well-governed cloud foundation.Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using scripts and DevOps tools.Collaborate with engineers and architects to define infrastructure requirements and solutions.ArgoCD for implementing GitOps workflows, ensuring continuous delivery and automated deployment into AKS.Managing Azure Files for persistent storage in AKS environments, ensuring reliable and scalable file management solutions.Utilizing Azure Container Registry (ACR) for container image management and deployment, ensuring efficient container lifecycle management.Securing sensitive data with Azure Key Vault, integrating it with AKS for managing secrets, keys, and certificates.Configuring and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Azure DevOps, including integration with ArgoCD for streamlined automation and delivery.Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the Azure infrastructure.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely and efficient manner.Stay updated on advancements in Azure technologies and best practices.Design and implement CI/CD pipelines tailored for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Manage and optimize AKS clusters for high availability and performance.Integrate AKS with Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Monitoring, and Security.Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.Manage and secure containerized applications using Kubernetes best practices.Implement logging and monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.Ensure compliance with security and scalability standards within AKS environments.Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.Expertise in configuring autoscaling and disaster recovery in AKS environments.Secure AKS clusters, including RBAC, Azure AD integration, and secrets management.Understand AKS hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.QualificationsAbility to obtain Public Trust Clearance RequiredBachelor's degree and/or 7+ years of Information Technology related experience5+ years hands-on experience in Azure DevOpsOur
