Solutions Engineer

The role We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to work directly with customers to help them succeed with Flint. You will work with customers throughout the life cycle, through building sales demos, running point on implementation, assisting them with expanding their usage, and unblocking customers through support. Leverage prompt engineering in Flint's platform to craft pixel-perfect, production-ready pages on time and on target, improving the efficacy of our AI agent. Assist with design system extraction of customer sites, fine-tuning the initial work Flint agents have done to derive design systems from customer sites. Triage and redirect complex questions and feature requests to the core engineering team, driving resolution back to the customer. Drive AI native customer life cycle through running the post-sales CRM tool, Pylon. Review competitor websites, identify assets, and partner with customers on landing page layouts that deliver their messaging with cohesive, high-quality content. Use GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT/Claude to accelerate development and maintain craftsmanship. Basic Qualifications You have a background in web development or in a customer-facing engineering role. You have experience building in React and Tailwind CSS, and are comfortable inspecting web pages and debugging layout and style issues. You are proficient in TypeScript and familiar with component-based web architectures. You have held client-facing roles and are experienced collaborating directly with creative teams to build and launch sites. Ideally, you’ve built websites for at least 3 customers before and maintained and extended them over a significant time period. Extreme ownership - able to call out risks early, close the loop with customers without exception, provide proactive ETAs for assignments. Success in this role is prompt responsiveness and a world-class customer experience. You have excellent async communication skills (and are confident navigating Slack, especially external Slack channels and automations). You have an extremely strong eye for design and detail; nothing passes your eagle eye. You are able to prioritize effectively in dynamic, fast-changing environments. You are comfortable using an AI IDE (e.g. Cursor) as your primary coding tool. You genuinely enjoy fast-paced, early-stage environments where flexibility, focus, and creativity are key. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Pylon or Zendesk and more complex animations on websites Familiarity with Linear and Slack for project management Familiarity with AI agent development workflows and tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, LangChain, or similar) Motivated by impact — you take pride in delivering something tangible every day. If you’re excited about this role, but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in this job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
