Field Application Engineer - Test & Measurement

This role works closely with customers to understand their applications, recommend the right solutions, and ensure successful product integration. You will act as a trusted advisor to both customers and the sales team, helping drive design wins and long-term partnerships.ResponsibilitiesProvide pre-sales technical support by understanding customer requirements, recommending solutions, and supporting proposals, design reviews, and technical presentationsPartner with sales to influence product selection and secure new business opportunitiesDeliver post-sales support by resolving technical issues, supporting integration, and assisting with testing, calibration, and validationTroubleshoot customer challenges both remotely and on-site as neededShare customer feedback with engineering and product teams to support product improvements and roadmap decisionsDocument applications, solutions, and lessons learned to build internal knowledge and support future opportunitiesRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferredExperience in a Field Application Engineer or similar customer-facing technical role within an electro-mechanical or component manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of customer applications and product integrationExperience with force sensing technologies is preferredHands-on skills such as strain gage bonding or soldering are an advantageStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearlyOrganized, self-disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer supportFluent in written and spoken EnglishBenefits: Base Salary: $105,000 - $130,000 Company sponsored benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D insurance, disability and flexible spending account (FSA)Voluntary Critical Illness & Accidental Injury InsuranceCompany 401(k) Plan with 4% employer match (Employee/Employer Contributions 100% vested upon hire)Paid vacation and holidaysBonus eligible positionThe estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual’s unique set of knowledge, skills, education, experience and geographic location, as well as internal equity.
