Maintenance and Operations Intern
IntroductionMWRD's Internship Program offers paid internship positions. The intern will gain knowledge of contract administration, maintenance management, and parts procurement.Responsibilities include:Support the Assistant Master Mechanics and Master Mechanic II with maintenance tasks, including corrective work order follow-up, backlog management, and creating or updating preventive maintenance work orders in the District's maintenance management system, Mainsaver.Collaborate with the Parts Procurement Group to enter purchase requisitions and order materials through existing open purchase orders or District purchase cards.Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:Proficient utilizing computers and has experience with Microsoft OfficeAbility to multi-taskCan work both independently and in a team-environmentEducational Requirements:
