See details about what we do .This position is a member of our Beaumont Regional Office.Here’s What You’ll Be Doing Conducts technical inspections, surveys, and follow-up investigations; prepares reports which documents field activities and observed conditions.. Conducts environmental monitoring; and prepares technical papers regarding studies involving environmental subjects Provides technical assistance and information to the public, regulated community, and other interested groups regarding the application of appropriate regulations. Assists with collecting and analyzing environmental samples QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEA bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in a natural or physical science, engineering, environmental studies, or related field generally preferred, but not required.ORFour years of full-time experience in the field of environmental activities directly related to the examples of work performed.Employees in this classification series may research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, including but not limited to a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment system, or water treatment facility.
