We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Own and champion the enterprise WAF, defining its strategy, patterns, and standards. Analyze and tune WAF rules to improve protection effectiveness. Collaborate on long-term WAF strategy, technology standards, and security roadmaps. Author and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and threat-specific WAF tuning strategies. Lead continuous improvement of automated detection and response capabilities. Participate in security events and incident response, proposing solutions to prevent recurring threats.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 4+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years managing enterprise WAF. Expert experience architecting, implementing, and operating enterprise WAF solutions. Deep knowledge of network traffic routing (DNS, HTTP/S, CDN/edge). Proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams. Proficiency in Python and Terraform; experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.What's On Offer Competitive base salary ranging from $122,600.00 to $204,400.00 per year.
