The company is known for delivering large-scale, complex commercial projects across Central Ohio and nationwide, partnering with major developers, healthcare systems, universities, and corporate clients.Columbus continues to see significant growth in commercial construction, with large mixed-use, healthcare, multifamily, and industrial developments underway across the region.This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects while working alongside experienced preconstruction, field, and executive leadership teams.Project Types:Healthcare & Medical FacilitiesHigher Education / University BuildingsLarge Mixed-Use & Multifamily DevelopmentsCorporate Office BuildingsData Centers & Advanced ManufacturingIndustrial / Distribution FacilitiesRetail & Hospitality ProjectsProjects commonly range from $20M to $200M+ in value, with many delivered through CM at Risk, Design-Build, or negotiated delivery methods.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of commercial construction projectsOversee project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reportingCoordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and design teamsDevelop and maintain project schedules and procurement timelinesLead owner meetings and maintain strong client relationshipsIdentify risks and implement proactive solutionsEnsure projects meet quality, schedule, and safety expectationsMentor assistant project managers and project engineersQualifications5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project managementExperience managing projects in the $10M-$100M+ range preferredBackground with large commercial or institutional constructionStrong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and cost controlExperience working with subcontractor buyout and contract administrationBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation & BenefitsTypical compensation for Project Managers with 5-10 years of experience in the Columbus market includes:Base Salary: $115k - 145kAnnual Performance Bonus: 10-20% potentialVehicle allowance or company vehicleComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development and career advancement opportunities
