Quality Test Engineer

Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.The Quality Test Engineer is responsible for planning, conducting, and documenting destructive and non-destructive tests aimed at evaluating product performance and conformance to internal and external customer requirements. The Quality Test Engineer will collaborate with the various Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to implement and execute test methods and procedures that accurately reflect the effectiveness of various manufacturing processes and materials. The Quality Test Engineer will analyze test data and generate reports for IPTs to drive process improvement initiatives and eliminate testing failures.Unique Benefits Designed with CareMonday - Thursday work week working 10-hour daysRelocation assistance provided401(K) with a 6% company match100% Employer-Paid Employee Only Medical Plan OptionEmployer Health Saving Account ContributionsGenerous Time Off benefitsWhat You'll Do: Precision in ActionPlan, design, and execute destructive and non-destructive tests for Nammo Perry's productsDevelop and implement test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with both internal and external safety and quality standardsWork closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineers, manufacturing quality engineers, design teams, and production to ensure proper test executionAnalyze test data and generate detailed reports, providing clear and actionable insights to improve quality of the productTroubleshoot and resolve issues during the testing, ensuring that all problems are addressed in a timely manner and in accordance with product specificationsMaintain test equipment, tools, and facilities ensuring proper calibration and functionalityProvide technical support and expertise for both internal and customer inquiries related to test results and product performanceChampion the continuous improvement of testing procedures and equipmentInvestigate internal and external quality concerns and work with cross functional teams to determine root cause and implement permanent corrective actionsInspect and review lot manufacturing and quality records for completeness and correctnessPerform radiographic inspections as required for testing articles (training will be provided).
