Job DescriptionManufacturing Facility Manager Job DescriptionAn experienced Facilities Manager needed for our manufacturing plant. Classic Coil Company manufactures precision electronic magnetic coil assemblies for the Aerospace, Industrial Fluid Control / Valve, Medical/Scientific Instrument, Automotive, and various other industries. Founded in 1973, Classic Coil Company occupies over 25,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and office space in Bristol, Connecticut, and believes in supporting its employees and giving back to the community.Duties: Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Maintain maintenance/P.M. Database. Oversee outside contractors for facility and grounds. Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors for facility projects. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the facility is in compliance with safety regulations. Manage the budget for facility maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues and ensure smooth operations. Maintain and schedule preventive maintenance program for all production equipment including troubleshooting, ordering parts etc. Maintain alarm security systems. Maintain facility and grounds. Update and maintain all safety data sheets for all departments Contract negotiations with vendors. Manage all expired chemicals for departments and arrange p/u once a year. Maintain fire system/sprinklers inspection updated including false alarm checks every six months. Involved as an Emergency Response Team Member Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate solutions. Support Safety Committee concerns. Support to emergencies outside of normal business hours. Experience: Proven experience in facilities management or related field. Experience with Total Productive Maintenance a plus Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to fabricate solutions to complex problemsForklift and scissor lift experienceDemonstrate trouble shooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Familiar with OSHA regulations and standards.
