Primary responsibilities include conducting power flow and system studies, analyzing transmission systems, and developing strategic planning initiatives to improve transmission network performance. The role also involves collaboration with diverse teams, providing technical expertise in power systems and electrical engineering, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.QualificationsExpertise in Transmission Planning, including the ability to assess and develop plans to improve power system reliability and performanceStrong understanding of Power Systems, with experience in network modeling and analysisProficiency in Electrical Engineering, including knowledge of electrical grids and system operationExperience with Power Flow analysis and its application to transmission projectsHands-on experience with Power System Studies, including load flow, contingency, stability, and fault analysisStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferredExperience with industry-standard software tools for power system analysis is a must; examples are PSSE.
