Our Angola, Indiana facility is currently seeking qualified candidates for Machine Operator positions on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Position Summary Machine Operators are responsible for performing one or more processes to support the manufacturing of fluid mounts, torque rods, or components. This includes operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner, while ensuring product quality and meeting production goals. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read and comprehend instructions, safety rules, and operating manuals in English Ability to write and understand simple correspondence in English Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to recognize operating errors and take appropriate action Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment Proficient in the use of basic hand tools Ability to maintain accurate production records Perform 5s All other duties as assigned Physical Demands Prolonged standing; frequent use of hands to handle tools or materials Reaching, bending, crouching, and lots of walking or stooping Regular lifting of up to 40 pounds (heavier lifting may be required occasionally) Visual acuity (close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment) Ability to move throughout the manufacturing areas Work Environment Manufacturing environment with potential exposure to extreme heat, noise, dust, odors, and moving equipment.
