Machine Operator - ManufacturingCompetitive starting rate plus full benefits which includes: medical, dental, flexible spending account (FSA), short term disability, life insurance, paid vacation, 10 paid holidays and a 401(k) retirement plan.Job responsibilities:Working with production equipment in an industrial environment.Working with machinery, hand and power tools in a fast paced work environment.Working with an organization that provides the necessary training to complete the job and advance your career.Additional responsibilities:Working with production supervisors and operating various machinery to meet production needs.Determining parts to be manufactured based upon orders and stock.Observe and maintain machinery operation and identifying and defects or malfunctions.Multi-tasking and cross training in other departments and machines.Qualifications/requirements:Previous machine operation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.Ability to work overtime as necessary.Physical aspects/work environment:Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.
