Regulatory Monitoring and Interpretation: Continuously monitor and interpret relevant and emerging laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure organizational compliance.Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures to address regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.Compliance Training and Education: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance standards and promote a culture of adherence throughout the organization.Auditing and Reporting: Conduct regular compliance audits, prepare detailed reports on findings, and recommend corrective actions to management.Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential compliance risks through thorough assessments and develop strategies to effectively mitigate those risks.Support Global Trade Compliance initiatives: Support Woodward's Segment Support Operations team with a variety of strategic projects designed to promote compliance and process maturation.Key Skills:
Regulatory Expertise: Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure organizational compliance.Analytical Skills: Effectively analyzes complex regulatory information and identifies potential compliance risks and solutions.Attention to Detail: Maintains meticulous attention to detail when reviewing policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, conveying regulatory requirements and compliance strategies.Risk Assessment: Conducts thorough risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate compliance-related risks within the organization.Policy Development: Develops, updates, and implements compliance policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.Training and Education: Designs and delivers training programs to educate employees on compliance standards and best practices, fostering a culture of compliance.Problem Solving: Identifies compliance issues and employs strategic problem-solving techniques to address and resolve them efficiently.Project Management: Manages compliance projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with regulatory timelines.Ethical Judgement: Exercises sound ethical judgment and integrity in all compliance-related decisions and actions, promoting an ethical organizational culture.Fluent in Compliance Tools: Experienced user of ERP systems and global trade management software tools.Team-oriented mindset: Demonstrated ability to work well with other and contribute to the success of team projects.Successful Candidates Will Typically Have:
