Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties: - Conduct thorough dental examinations to assess oral health and identify potential issues - Provide dental cleanings and scaling treatments to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients - Use medical imaging equipment to take x-rays and diagnose dental conditions - Assist the dentist with procedures and take vital signs as needed - Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for each patient - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining optimal oral health - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of practice policies and procedures - Collaborate with the dentist and other dental professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care **Skills** - Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry and the needs of young patients - Proficiency with dental systems and medical coding software - Experience with four-handed dentistry and eaglesoft software - Ability to take vital signs and perform medical imaging tasks - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines for patient confidentiality - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously - A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental care and technology Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 per week Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Ability to Relocate: Princeton Junction, NJ 08550: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
